- Kyocera Paper jammed above Cassette 1.A paper jam has occurred. Kyocera documents that the machine stops and indicates the location of the jam on the screen, and instructs you to leave the machine switched on, select Help on the screen, and follow the on-screen instructions to remove the paper. Leaving it powered on is the part people get wrong — the guided sequence depends on the machine knowing where the sheet stopped.
