Canon error code 2110

Before you try the solution

1. 1. Copy the complete message exactly as shown, including any letters, spaces, or punctuation around 2110.
2. 2. Find the printer's exact model number. The same-looking code can mean something different on another model family.
3. 3. Let the current print, scan, or update operation stop before touching controls, paper paths, or covers.

If the error is still there

1. 1Return to the screen or job that produced the message and check whether the code has cleared.
2. 2If 2110 returns, do not repeat a risky procedure. Record when it appears and check the documentation for the exact model.
3. 3If the documented action does not clear 2110, contact Canon support or a qualified printer technician with the model number and complete message.

Other Canon error codes

• 2500Automatic print head alignment failed. Canon gives three possible causes: the print head nozzles are clogged, paper other than A4 or Letter is loaded, or the paper output slot is exposed to strong light.
• 2700An error occurred during copying (timeout), or a document remains stuck in the ADF during a scan. Press OK to clear a copy timeout and retry, press OK to feed out a stuck document, or press Stop to cancel scanning and retry. Do not insert objects into the document output slot.
• 2801A document is jammed in the ADF (Auto Document Feeder). Depending on the situation: press OK to auto-feed out a remaining document, or turn the printer off, open the document feeder cover and carefully pull the jammed document out. Reduce the loaded document stack if jams recur, and contact Canon service if unresolved.
• 2900Scanning the print head alignment sheet failed. Check the alignment sheet is placed correctly on the platen, that both platen and sheet are clean, load plain A4/Letter paper in the front tray, print a nozzle check pattern to verify head condition, and retry automatic alignment (or fall back to manual alignment).
• #001The original document is jammed in the ADF feeder during a fax/scan job. Remove the jammed original per the paper-jam troubleshooting section.
• 1000There is no paper in the rear tray, or the paper is not loaded correctly. Canon's remedy is to reload the paper, align the guides, set the paper information and press OK.
